I went to high school in Courtice, Ontario, about 20-30 mintutes from Ajax. I now attend Queen’s University. The fact that this student was suspended for a message that has no aura of bad intention is absolutely appalling. Durham can do better than that. This student wrote incredibly true words. Coming from a Catholic school, alike DOC, I can sympathize. #FreePaul.
HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS MUST READ
Hello everyone. I am from a school named Archbishop Denis O’ Connor Catholic Secondary School in Ajax, Ontario in Canada. On Valentines day, a great guy named Paul wrote a letter and placed it on all of the tables in the cafeteria before lunch. It was a great letter, pointing out to girls that they don’t need to dress like sluts to get the attention of guys. Similar things were highlighted in the letter. Later that day, the student was suspended. Don’t think this is a stupid chain letter. This really happened. Just because someone wanted to be a gentleman, he got suspended. It is our civil right to be able to do that. It is taught in the civic classes inside the school while simple human rights are being violated in the office. This is totally wrong. Everyone, I plead that you reblog this and tweet about it. It would take less than a minute. Go on twitter and tweet #FreePaul. Retweet all the #FreePaul tweets and reblog the hell out of this post. When the religion classes are encouraging not to let media control you, the office has really contradicted Christian teachings and teachings of the curriculum.
Everyone thinks they can walk all over kids and they’ll get away from it. Instead of talking shit about someone else, or just scrolling through your timeline, please tweet and blog about this. I beg of you. Everyone seems to have a revolution in this world. Its time for the teenagers of the world to have one too.
EVERYONE WHO REBLOGS THIS WILL GET A FOLLOW FROM ME.
